The TAS5756M is a 30W Stereo, 40W Mono, 4.5 to 26.4V Power Supply, Digital Input Class-D Audio Amplifier

The TAS5756M device is a high-performance AOTF12N60 stereo closed-loop amplifier with an integrated audio processor and architecture. To convert from digital to analog, the device uses a high-performance DAC with Burr-Brown mixed-signal heritage. It requires only two power supplies; one DVDD for low voltage circuits and one PVDD for high voltage circuits. It is controlled by a software control port using standard I2C communication. In the family, the TAS5756M uses traditional BD modulation to ensure low distortion characteristics. The TAS5756M uses 1SPW modulation to reduce output ripple current at the expense of slightly higher distortion.

The unique HybridFlow architecture allows system designers to choose from multiple configurable DSP programs specifically designed for popular audio end devices such as Bluetooth (BT) speakers, sound bars, docking stations and subwoofers. This architecture combines the flexibility of fully programmable devices with fast download times and easy-to-use fixed-function ROM devices.

The 90 mΩ r DS(on) of the output MOSFET provides the best combination of thermal performance and device cost. Additionally, the athermally enhanced 48-pin HTSSOP provides excellent operation in the high temperature environments of modern consumer electronic equipment.
